About Nathaniel Grace Lambert

Nathaniel Grace Lambert, son of Achsah Grace and Richard Lambert was born in 1811.

Nathaniel Grace Lambert was educated privately and became a mine-owner. He was a captain on the Taplow Yeomanry Lancers, a Justice of the Peace and Deputy Lieutenant for Buckinghamshire.

In 1843, at the age of 32 Nathaniel Grace married Mary Ann Richards.

In 1848, Nathaniel Grace Lambert was elected as Sheriff for Newcastle upon Tyne, England.

At this time our research indicates that Nathaniel Grace Lambert and Mary Ann Richards had three children; Annie Christina Richards, born 1850, in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Maria Achsah Richards and Richard Richards Lambert.

In 1852, Nathaniel Grace Lambert was elected to Lord Mayor for Newcastle upon Tyne, England.

In 1868 Nathaniel Grace Lambert was elected to the House of Parliament as a Liberal Party Member of Parliament for Buckinghamshire, England.

It is not known if Mary Ann Richards passed away before 1871 however it appears as though Nathaniel Grace Lambert had a fourth child with a different surname, Albert John Turner in 1871 Denham, England.

In 1880, Nathaniel Grace Lambert left Parliament and presumably retired from politics.

At the age of 71, Nathaniel Grace Lambert passed away on December 9th, 1882.
